The main goal of the department is to become familiar to the characteristics such as family, school, university, work environment, cultural, social, and leisure time activities and whatsoever related matters to the education. It is anticipated that the research projects in this department causes a social integrity in some parts of the Iranian society.
Some major research topics in the department are social factors relevant to the learning and education, motivational learning factors, education sociological issues, and social health.
