EURAS (Eurasian Universities Union) is a non-profit union established by Istanbul Aydin University in 2008 with the aim of facilitating scientific cooperation among universities in the Eurasia region. With more than 120 member universities, EURAS seeks to improve academic standards of education by building a platform for regional universities to reach international educational services. EURAS, moreover, encourages cooperation and networking among institutions of higher education and provides them with an opportunity to engage in dialog and share ideas about expanding international relationship. The union’s main activities include organizing annual summits, conferences and expos, as well as publishing electronic academic bulletins.
The EURIE (Eurasia Higher Education) annual summit was held on 3-5 March 2021 with the aim of expanding knowledge in higher education and creating opportunities for international scientific cooperation among member institutes. It featured an exhibition and a conference, in which more than 150 universities and educational institutes participated.

As Kharazmi University is a member of the Eurasian Universities Union (EURAS), the university’s Bureau for International Scientific Cooperation participated in EURIE summit 2021, delivered a speech, engaged in discussions and established scientific-research relationships with other members.
