Dr. Ehsan Pegah is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Geology at Kharazmi University. He holds a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering with a focus on the applications of geophysical seismic techniques. Additionally, he has completed three postdoctoral courses in Geomechanics, Engineering Geophysics, and Geotechnical Engineering. In general, his professional activities primarily focus on various aspects of interdisciplinary studies that bridge the fields of Geotechnical Engineering and Geophysics. The main motivation and ultimate objective of this roadmap is to overcome the existing shortcomings and challenges in various areas of geotechnical and geological engineering using a series of modern, reliable, efficient, low-cost, and environmentally friendly geophysical methods. Accordingly, he has consistently aimed to develop novel approaches of crucial importance to geotechnical and geological engineering applications by combining geophysics, soil mechanics, and geotechnical engineering.
