Dr. Hamid Jalalian, Associate Professor, Kharazmi University, Faculty of Geographical Sciences
Dr. Hamid Jalalian was born in 1970 in the city of Amol (Mazandaran province, Iran). He chose to study geography with interest and in 1988 he entered the University of Tehran for a bachelor's degree.He also continued his master's and doctoral courses at the University of Tehran in Human Geography. In 2000, he became a member of the faculty of Zanjan University and then in 2011 he was transferred to Kharazmi University in Tehran. He specializes in rural and regional planning and is also interested in rural economics, rural tourism and sustainable rural development.He has guided and advised many students in various fields of rural planning and development and is also interested in guiding senior, doctoral and postdoctoral students on issues related to rural development.
