Dr. Sirus Sharifi is a faculty member and Head of the Department of Banking, Insurance, and Customs in the Faculty of Management at Kharazmi University, Tehran, Iran. He earned his Ph.D. in Finance from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay). His research interests focus on risk management, insurance, and financial innovation, with particular emphasis on Fintech and Insurtech. Dr. Sharifi has extensive university teaching experience on the faculties of management at both Kharazmi University and the University of Tehran. His scholarly work includes peer-reviewed publications in international journals and research presentations at prestigious international conferences, including those hosted by the University of Oxford, the University of London, and the University of British Columbia.
